What data we collect

When you register for the SlowFashion event through our registration form, we may collect the following personal data:

  • Full name — to identify you as an attendee
  • Email address — to send you your registration confirmation and event updates

Purpose & legal basis

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Event registration management — Processing and confirming your registration for the SlowFashion event (legal basis: performance of a contract / your consent)
  • Event communication — Sending you information about the event, schedule changes, or important updates (legal basis: legitimate interest / consent)
  • Legal obligations — Complying with applicable Hungarian and EU legal requirements

All processing is carried out in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR) and applicable Hungarian data protection law (Act CXII of 2011).

How long we keep your data

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy:

  • Registration data will be retained until 60 days after the event (April 9, 2026), after which it will be securely deleted, unless we are required to retain it longer by law.
  • Technical/cookie data is retained in accordance with the individual retention periods stated in Section 6.

After the retention period expires, your data will be permanently and securely deleted from all our systems.

Who we share data with

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data with third parties. We may share your data only with the following categories of processors, strictly for the purposes of operating this service:

  • AImpress (aimpress.hu) — Our event registration platform and landing page provider, which processes registration data on our behalf
  • Google (Fonts, Analytics) — For website functionality and anonymised visitor statistics
  • GTranslate — For multi-language support on this website

All third-party processors are contractually bound to process your data only according to our instructions and in compliance with GDPR.

We may disclose your data to competent authorities if required to do so by law.
