Introduction & acceptance

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the SlowFashion event website and your participation in the SlowFashion event taking place on April 9, 2026 at Easy Street Vijfhagen, 4812 XT Breda, Netherlands.

By accessing this website or registering for the event, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use this website or register for the event.

Event description

The SlowFashion event is a free public event focused on sustainable fashion awareness. The event includes:

  • Fashion Show — A curated showcase highlighting sustainable and slow fashion perspectives
  • Creative Workshops — Interactive sessions on upcycling, repair, and mindful fashion choices
  • Interactive Exhibition — An educational display on the environmental and social impact of fast fashion

The event is open to all registered attendees. Entry is completely free of charge. No ticket purchase is required; registration alone grants you access.

Registration & attendance

Registration for the event is carried out via the AImpress platform linked on this website. By completing registration, you confirm that:

  • The information you provide is accurate and complete
  • You are registering for personal, non-commercial purposes
  • You are at least 16 years of age, or have parental/guardian consent
  • You have read and accept these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy

Places are limited. Completing your registration does not guarantee entry if the venue reaches capacity. We recommend arriving early on the day of the event.

The organiser reserves the right to cancel or refuse a registration at its sole discretion, without obligation to provide a reason.

Event changes & cancellation

The organiser reserves the right to:

  • Modify the programme, speakers, schedule, or content of the event at any time without prior notice
  • Change the venue to an alternative location if required by circumstances beyond our control
  • Cancel or postpone the event in the event of force majeure (including but not limited to: extreme weather, government regulations, public health emergencies, or acts of God)

No liability for cancellation: Since the event is free of charge, no refunds or compensation will be owed in the event of cancellation, postponement, or modification. Registered attendees will be informed of significant changes via email where possible.

Attendee conduct

All attendees are expected to behave in a respectful and considerate manner toward other attendees, staff, volunteers, and the venue. The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Harassment, discrimination, or intimidation of any kind
  • Damage to the venue or event property
  • Disruptive behaviour that interferes with the event programme
  • Unauthorised commercial activities, solicitation, or distribution of materials
  • Any unlawful activity on or around the premises

The organiser reserves the right to remove any attendee from the event without prior warning if these standards are not met. No compensation will be offered in such cases.

Photography & media

By attending the event, you acknowledge that photography, video recording, and other media capture may take place during the event for documentation and promotional purposes. Such content may be published on the organiser's website, social media channels, and other marketing materials.

If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please inform a member of staff at the event. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request.

Attendees may take photographs for personal, non-commercial use. Commercial photography or recording requires prior written consent from the organiser.

Liability & disclaimer

Attendance at the SlowFashion event is at your own risk. The organiser shall not be liable for:

  • Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings during the event
  • Personal injury sustained at the event, except where caused by the organiser's proven negligence
  • Any indirect, consequential, or special losses arising from attendance or non-attendance
  • Technical failures, inaccuracies, or interruptions on this website

This website and its content are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. The organiser makes no representations about the completeness or accuracy of the information on this site.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Intellectual property

All content on this website — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and design — is the property of Stubán Lukács or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property law.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any content from this website for commercial purposes without prior written permission from the organiser.

Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hungary, without prejudice to any mandatory provisions of the law of the Netherlands applicable to the event venue.

Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Hungary, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Changes to these Terms

We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of this website or participation in the event following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
